This October, developer Rebelplug dropped by the Steam Next Fest game showcase and is now taking part in the DreamHack Indie Showcase until the 23rd of October. This has all been vital in promoting their upcoming futuristic farming tycoon game, Roboplant. Aside from the buzz it garnered, we also have an actual release date.
Since its showcase on Steam Next Fest, the community has been making noise, giving suggestions, and helping out. Features such as the ability to sell and place orders even when the spacecraft has landed have found their way into the game. Bug fixes and a more intuitive tutorial were also added into the mix.
For those unfamiliar, Roboplant players begin their mission by embarking to the singular planet available at the start, and building the first foundation of their business. Hiring loyal robot workers and adding the necessary farming equipment will then allow the first vegetables and fruits to grow. Aside from building a hydroponic farming empire, missions to save Earth and its population are also an option to escape from the mundane.
DarkTide is a great FPS in a grim place
I’ve spent just over 130 hours hacking and blasting my way through Tertium’s infested corridors and feel qualified to say that…
Defy the Gods as a Witchy Moon Goddess in Hades 2
Greek-mythology-themed roguelike Hades is getting a sequel, but developer Supergiant has kept the details scant beyond a Hades 2 reveal trailer…
The dev team has been working on adding more models into the game, including a fabulous ping pong table where the little robot Beebop is able to challenge the world champion: a precise and very competitive mechanical arm. Aside from this, more hydroponic production facilities and a few little goodies will be revealed right before the game’s Early Access launch.
Roboplant’s Steam Early Access launch will be happening on November 10, 2022.
