Starchaser Games is bringing us Retrowave Rider, is a 2D precision platformer featuring synthwave worlds and retro-inspired visuals with smooth synth sounds.
The game’s mechanics allow players to control the character and the level itself and dive into an experience that promises trials, challenges, and some very sweet aesthetics.
In terms of gameplay, you’ll simply drive forward onto the neon-lit road that showcases simple, yet colorful hand-crafted level design. The game also employs a unique mix of runner and puzzle type mechanics that will definitely keep players on their toes. Aside from the challenges, extra collectibles can be unlocked customization options, and accessibility support is readily available for those who need it.
“Ever since I was a kid, I was crazy into 2D platformers. Now that I have made my own game of that kind, I hope it can bring fun to others, just like I had with the games I played!” said Lin of Starchaser Games.
