So Many Tentacles, So Little Time

Forgive Me Father is a dark retro horror FPS set in a comic book style world inspired by the novels of H.P. Lovecraft. As the only one left with full senses, you begin a journey in search of answers and relief. How long can you last?

Earlier this month Byte Barrel released Forgive Me Father, where you face cosmic horrors and blow them away with as much firepower as you can. Since release the game has received huge praise, enough to qualify it for a big fancy accolades trailer. It also recently got a big balancing patch, improving the experience for all players.

If you’re wondering what this game is even about, here’s an official description; ‘As the only one left with full senses, you embark on a journey in search of answers and relief in this FPS game that is created in a distinctive retro horror comic book style and feels as if it came straight out of Lovecraft’s books.’

The game features a ‘madness level’ mechanic that changes as you play and affects what you can do, and you can switch and choose active skills to fight evil your way.

Forgive Me Father is available now via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store and other digital stores for 19.99 USD / 19.99 EUR / 17.99 GBP. If you want to see the game in action, check out the all-new accolades trailer here.
