Developer and publisher Square Enix just announced that the latest installment in the VALKYRIE series, VALKYRIE ELYSIUM, is now available on PC. Players can now begin their news adventure on PC as the ever popular protagonist Valkyrie, and enjoy a free game update which introduces three pieces of new content.
As per the franchise, this game follows a young Valkyrie who’s been entrusted with the fate of the world by the All-Father, the highest of gods and ruler of all creation. As such, players will face various enemies, utilizing a variety of weapons, magic and the power to prevent the coming of Ragnarok—the destruction of the world.
VALKYRIE ELYSIUM brings both fond memories and newfound appreciation courtesy of the music composed by series regular Motoi Sakuraba. This title breathes in a fresh, new direction into the series with classic combat mechanics, such as finishing moves and combo systems, and classic action-RPG play styles reimagined for modern sensibilities.
