Developer Sundew Studios just dropped a cozy, cute visual novel over the weekend, and it’s looking quite magical–for lack of a better term. Witchy Life Story follows a chaotic teen’s first two weeks on the job as a village witch, and hijinks are sure to follow.
The game blends gardening, tarot readings, guided meditations, and good old-fashioned potion brewing into a grimoire of skills–bringing about quite the witch-based life simulator.
Help the villagers by filling their orders for spells and rituals–or accidentally hex them in a comedic fashion. Take the time to get to know everyone, and figure out what’s troubling the local townsfolk. Regardless of the outcome, you’re here to help.
Players have the freedom to design their own witches however they see fit, with an extensive character creator. Customize and decorate your altar with the various spells, crystals, and plants you collect throughout your stay in the magical place of Flora. Tend your garden to collect plants for magical recipes, rituals, and concoctions.

Of course, no visual novel would be complete without the power of friendship, and a bit of romance. You can choose to craft spells, perform tarot readings, lead guided meditations in order to help a friend in need, or enchant an unwary townsperson, being the charming witch you are. Work that magic like you mean it.
Witchy Life Story is out now available on Steam for $19.99.
