Raw Fury and game dev collective Geography of Robots are bringing the critically acclaimed Southern Gothic point-and-click narrative adventure game NORCO to consoles next month!
This title sees players exploring a gritty, distorted version of Southern Louisiana as you search for your missing brother in the aftermath of your mother’s death. You must team up with a fugitive android and explore the outskirts and inner bowels of this Neo-Louisiana’s petrochemical hinterlands.
This is also the debut title from developer collective Geography of Robots, with lead creator Yuts being born and raised in Norco, Louisiana. NORCO stands for New Orleans Refining Co.–part of a stretch of the Mississippi that accounts for 1/4 of the United States’ petrochemical production.
As such, the game combines real locations, personal stories and Southern Gothic literature with a captivating original soundtrack featuring a guest track by Southern metal Band THOU.
