Indie dev Overflow have today announced the Early Access date for their acrobatic rogue-lite shooter; Madshot. For those who don’t know, an official description reads; ‘Madshot is a fast-paced, acrobatic, rogue-lite shooter. Survive the ever-changing road through Cthulhu and beyond. Equip endless upgrade combinations as you fight your way through horrific monsters and multi-phased boss battles. You won’t have the same experience twice in Madshot as the game changes with you and every new playthrough brings new surprises!’
Clean. Up. Your. Mess
You play as a character who, in the search for eternal life, has inadvertently summoned the great dreamer himself; Cthulhu. Now, the god of madness is threatening to swallow the whole city. In order to destroy the beast you must go through a variety of levels with crazy My Friend Pedro-esque acrobatics and defeat nefarious bosses with a huge arsenal of weapons with over 300 upgrades.
This procedurally generated rogue-lite offers great replayability and exploration, with challengers, unlocks and other rewards on offer.
