Bloodborne is finally on PC… In the form of a fantastic fan demake

Bloodborne is an action role-playing game played from a third-person perspective and features elements similar to those found in the Souls series of games, particularly Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

After years of patient waiting, asking and hoping, FromSoftware’s Bloodborne is finally coming to PC… at least, one verison of it. Bloodborne PSX is a PS1 style demake of the PS4 exclusive that is available now on itch.io.

‘Travel to the gothic Victorian city of Yharnam, whose blood-soaked roads are filled with unspeakable terrors hidden behind every corner.

Wield over 10 unique hunter weapons using the Strategic Action Combat system to vanquish your foes. Dodge incoming attacks with your hunter’s quick step ability, parry enemies with your quicksilver firearm, and transform your trick weapon to tailor your loadout for any encounter in this new, next generation 3D experience that blends RPG and Action in a way you’ve been seen before.

Only one question remains: Can you survive the night?’

3 Best DnD Campaigns to Try Right Now!

On a personal note, this is one of my favorite games in the style of one of my favorite consoles, and I could not be more exited! Bloodborne is one of the best games of the last console generation, and this is a lovingly made project that took over a year and a half for the developer to complete. The look and feel are perfectly executed, from the quality of the graphics, to effects and visual artefacting, to the controls and UI/UX, if I could print this onto a CDR and play this on my PS1 I would do it in a heartbeat.

Bloodborne PSX is available right now, and to keep up with updates or engage with the community feel free to join the official Discord server.
