Canadian studio Blue Isle Studios is bringing their upcoming FPS LEAP into Open Beta between May 20th and May 22nd ahead of a full launch into early access on June 1st.
Open for Business
In the open beta players will be able to dive into LEAP’s PvE mode Special Operations for the first time. Buddy up into squads of four and pick one of four different classes, each one offering a unique combination of speed, durability and power as well as flashy ultimate abilities including deployable turrets, guided missile barrages and orbital strikes.
A self-described ‘aerial firefight focused first person shooter’ LEAP offers up obstacles and changes in the terrain as opportunities to ‘soar, dash or charge’ into battle. If you enjoyed Titanfall 2 anywhere near as much as I did, the idea of using map traversal to speed up combat should tickle your gaming tastebuds in all the right ways.
