Back in 2000, the turn of the millennium, Kao the Kangaroo released for the sadly-unloved Dreamcast, it went on to have a number of underperforming sequels such as Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2, Kao Challengers and Kao the Kangaroo: Mystery of the Volcano. The series was criticised at the time as a supposed Crash Bandicoot Ripoff, but has since developed a dedicated fanbase; largely amongst fans of the Dreamcast.
However, in 2020, the series was revived, and a new entry was announced for 2022. Now, we have our first real look at this new entry, in all its punching and platforming glory, with a new trailer, and an all-new demo that players can enjoy during Steam Next Fest!
