Originally released in mid-2021, Ashwalkers is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch. This post-apocalyptic survival game is all about your choices, and it makes sense, coming from the co-creator of Life is Strange Hervé Bonin and the rest of Nameless XIII.
An official description of the plot reads; ‘Years after a geological disaster, a group of survivors called “The Squad” set out into a ravaged world. They need to find a safe haven for their people, but to reach it they must cross a post-apocalyptic wasteland full of complex moral dilemmas. Players must manage the party’s food and equipment and find their way through a dynamic narrative with multiple possible endings.’

And when they say ‘multiple possible endings’, they mean it! With a whopping 34 different endings based on your choices, this game faces you with complex moral dilemmas and meaningful decisions to make about the four distinct characters of your squad. All the while, you manage food, equipment and medication to make sure everyone is as happy as possible. The game is described as a ‘melancholy narrative game, offering an unprecedented amount of choice as players guide their party through its greyscale wasteland’ by Hervé Bonin, and now you can take it on-the-go when it comes to Nintendo Switch on March 10th.
