Rouguelite 2D indie firefighter action game Firegirl has just released a deluxe version that you can check out on all systems right now! Firegirl comes from Dejima, composed of just two people, an artist and a programmer with a passion for creating unique games. Their next game is called, and I hope you’re ready for this, Bloodthirsty Helicopter Aztec Goddess Simulator Megacopter. I, personally, can’t wait.
Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue DX is an overhauled and rebalanced version of the game that hit PC late last year, including new enemies, reworked environments and re-balanced difficulty. The skill tree has also been streamlined and the level design is improved. Basically, it’s just a totally new, better version of the game. To top it all off, the combat system has been reworked, item drops are more common and the entire income system has been rebuilt from the ground up.
“With the launch of Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue DX, we are excited to release the definitive edition on console with a simultaneous update on PC,” said Julien Ribassin, founder of Dejima. ”We always envisaged that Firegirl would find its way to a console audience and with Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue DX, we are excited to launch today with a frantic, polished title that runs fantastically on consoles and PC”.
