Fishing Fans Rejoice! Call of the Wild: The Angler has been revealed!

Call of the Wild: The Angler represents a new vision from our team that goes beyond what you’d expect from a fishing game in a lot of fun ways.

A new open-world fishing game from the creators of The Hunter: Call of the Wild, was announced this week and is coming to consoles and PC later this year. Expansive Worlds, part of Avalanche Studios Group, is back once again to bring you this new hunter game; the latest in their series of outdoor-themed games. They promise an atmospheric open world, single and multi-player, consistently changing and evolving content and ‘the genuine thrill of freshwater fishing’.

We couldn’t be more excited to bring it to players around the world later this year,” said Expansive Worlds Managing Director Samuel Peterson.

Sporting up to 12-player co-op at launch, your journey to become a master angler begins this year when the game launches. You get to choose your gear, perfect your knowledge and savour your catches, from smallest to biggest.
