Developers QUByte Interactive, in partnership with Tengukaze Studio, announced a new title that brings stealth, tension, and an overall unnerving feeling into a single game: Host 714.
This stealth game has players controlling Squid, a drug addicted hobo who was “politely coaxed” into a mysterious government organization, the Orange Institute. What unfolds is a plot involving a drug addiction rehab center with experimental treatment and social reintegration. Very Clockwork Orange.
The game’s settings range from abandoned dungeons to modern laboratories filled with abusive guards and soulless patients. The sound design and visuals aim to elicit the feeling of constant tension, abandonment and an accelerated heart rate as you explore the institute.
