Developer X.D. Entertainment just announced the kickoff of pre-registration for its brand new, fast-paced, action roguelike, Unhappy Raccoon. The game allows players to choose their hero and fight through procedurally generated, cel-shaded levels with waves of enemies. The goal is to fight your way out of a galactic challenge set by the mysterious and powerful Raccoon God.
In the game, players are transported to the vibrant Raccoon Universe created by the aforementioned Raccoon God. In it, heroes from all across the universe have been invited under strange circumstances. The catch? The good ol’ Raccoon God issues a challenge where only he makes the rules. The only way to escape is to fight your way out and collect all the ‘hearts’ of the universe.
Players must choose their hero and take advantage of the game’s dual development system that incorporates your talents, weapon, and attributes altogether. It’s imperative to make your hero more devastating to enemies–and at the same time, more menacingly cool in appearance. Choose to fight in melee or pick off your enemies with ranged attacks–it’s all up to you. For as long as you stay alive, you stand a chance to be set free.
