Sneak around on the high seas in this RTT stealth title from Mercat Games. Frigato: Shadows of the Caribbean has a focus on its single-player campaign where you command a crew of sea dogs and face a variety of challenges. You must plan for prosperity or fight against failure as you loot and steal your pirate’s life away. The game offers multiple paths to complete each objective, and numerous side-missions for players to expand their understanding of the world of the game.
According to the devs, you play as an elusive gentleman pirate, and it’s up to you weather you stay that way, or become the bloody terror of the caribbean! Jakub Brzeziński, game designer at Mercat Games says “In Frigato, we combine the elements of pirate adventures, dark legends and rowdy humour into a unique whole. The game will loosely refer to the so-called golden age of piracy – the 17th and 18th century. Gameplay-wise, it should appeal to fans of games like Shadow Tactics, Desperados, Commandos, War Mongrels and Partisans 1941”
The game boasts a high difficulty level that is sure to be satisfying to dedicated players, and with many treasures and stories to find during the golden age of piracy, this is one for any old-timey pirates fans out there.
