Life sim RPG My Time at Portia is officially getting a sequel; My Time At Sandrock. After selling over 1M copies, the series is getting its second title, going into early access soon. An official description reads; ‘Welcome to Sandrock, a struggling city-state in the jaws of economic and environmental ruin. As Sandrock’s newest Builder, it’s up to you to revitalise the region and restore the city to its former glory.’
Level up skills suited to your playstyle, from social skills to farming and construction. Take on the perilous desert and try to create the best crop you can. Residents of Sandrock can give you assignments, which will have you ‘assembling an array of machinery, civic structures, and more.’
There’s also a whole world to explore, below the deserts you can uncover the history of Sandrock by mining through the stone for materials, relics and data disks that will tell you about the old world. ‘Explore caverns and ruins, fighting back against hostile inhabitants with an overhauled action-RPG combat system featuring melee and third-person shooting mechanics as well as an arsenal of weapons to master.’

My Time at Sandrock will be available for Windows PC via Steam Early Access and Epic Game Store on Wednesday, May 26, 2022, for $24.99. The Early Access version of Sandrock will receive regular content updates, including new NPC dialogue, multiplayer, and more throughout development.
