Hungarian indie game developers NeocoreGames have confirmed that their new dark fantasy RPG King Arthur: Knight’s Tale has a new launch date of March 29th 2022. “The new date will make for a stronger release and a really polished version of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale,” the developers announced via Steam. “We’re confident that Knight’s Tale will be ready by the end of March, and your journey in Avalon can finally begin.”

About King Arthur: Knight’s Tale
Currently available in Early Access on Steam, the Kickstarter-funded King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a single-player tactical RPG based in the dark fantasy world of Avalon. Players are cast as Sir Mordred, King Arthur’s sworn enemy, and are tasked with battling fearsome creatures across the dystopian world, assembling and managing multiple heroes, and ultimately killing the King – no matter what beastly form he now takes…
Make difficult choices that impact the route your story will take, engage in deep tactical battles using the six different hero classes to your advantage, and rebuild Camelot to its former glory. While the Early Access currently contains the first act of the main story campaign, the full game’s release will unlock three new acts and a post-campaign endgame mode, as well as new items, skills, playable heroes, and more.
Why the delay?
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale was originally set for release on February 15th 2022, but was moved to the new date of March 29th after the NeocoreGames team’s health and security concerns while working from home during the pandemic, resulting in ‘slight’ but inevitable delays.
Where can I play King Arthur: Knight’s Tale?
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will launch in full on PC on March 29th 2022. NeocoreGames have also confirmed that the indie RPG will release on console – PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X – at a later date.
